“Too much pressure on Price” Patrick Roy

Patrick Roy was the main attraction of “FanFest”, located at the main entrance of the Coliseum in Quebec, Wednesday afternoon. He has kindly agreed to sign autographs and take pictures with hockey fans throughout the world for more than an hour.

As for the young Canadian goalkeeper, Carey Price, the winner of four Stanley Cups believes that the people of Montreal will requested too much of Price during the last series.

“He’s only twenty years old. There was too much pressure on Price in the last series. We must not forget that hockey is a team sport. If the players ahead of him had played better, the result might have been different. He is a very good goalkeeper and he will undoubtedly rebound. “Says the head coach of the Quebec Remparts.

The former goaltender of the Canadiens and the Avalanche does not think that the Flyers will succeed in the 3rd round.

“I love the Penguins, they are young, fast and they are doing very well since the beginning of the series. On the other hand, the Stars have beaten very good teams and have good chances of defeating the Red Wings. “Says Roy.

He admits not having followed closely the world championships currently taking place in his hometown. “These last time I played much golf. I have not really taken the time to assess the country in competition. “

As far as attractiveness to this tournament, the second round begins today at the Coliseum in Quebec and the Metro Centre in Halifax.
